Vincenzo Marchese Ragona

A project with a London-based designer Vincenzo Marchese Ragona.

The idea was to create a bespoke 3D asset to serve as his brand identity - rooted in his Sicilian heritage.

All historical references provided by Vincenzo/google, I started by sculpting the coin featuring the Triskele, an ancient symbol of cosmic movement, life, and transformation. After originating in Greece, the Triskele found its way to Sicily, where it evolved into the Trinacria, meaning “three headlands”, a powerful emblem of the island’s identity.

Can you tell that was copied straight from Google?

Anyways, once sculpted, the coin was carefully textured to give it that old metal look, lit, and then animated.
