This one was great. Kelly Anna London (Artist & Designer) got in touch about bringing one of her female figure illustrations into the 3D world. As a wannabe artist myself, I was well excited.

It wasn’t without challenges though. The original illustration was never designed with 3D in mind, so figuring out how the figure should look from every angle during the modelling phase was a bit tricky. But we got there.

We talked about wanting the figure to feel like a sculpture, something that could sit on a plinth. With that in mind, I created the glazed ceramic material, complete with all the nice little imperfections that give the medium its handmade charm.

The final touch was a turntable style animation, but with a bit more flair.

10/10 fun.
