Hunter Boots
Hunter Boots approached me to create a suite of social video assets, to be used pretty much everywhere: Instagram, TikTok, and even at a massive internal conference in New York.
I was involved right from the ideas stage - making storyboards, pitching different directions, style frames, the lot - all the way through to modelling, texturing, lighting, lookdev, animation, comp and render. Basically everything apart from rigging. My mate Jack did that.
Each video highlighted a different aspect of the clog. For example, the one with scales showed, in a playful way, what it’s actually lighter than. Turns out it’s legit lighter than three rocket lollies, a set of keys, or even a couple of bananas. Crazy.
The Pride video focused on transformation, colour, and just a bit of fun. Nice and simple.
The piece that ran at the New York conference was the classic Instagram brand trend: the product floating above a live-action street scene. (Honestly, not really my cup of tea)
Here you’ll find a selection from the project - videos, stills pulled from the films, and even a few breakdowns. Enjoy!
