Giraffe360¹

it’s 2024 and a camera company called Giraffe360 get in touch. They want some technical 3D motion work. I say yes.

Strap in everyone, here is that project.

First up, I had to build an insanely detailed model of the camera, inside and out. Mental, but it worked perfectly. Step two: give it custom textures. Step three: animate the whole thing. Step four: bring it into Houdini for lidar dot simulations. You get the idea, I handled the whole thing, even making the stills for their marketing.

Building the whole camera with precision, inside and out, gave me total freedom when it came to highlighting all the features they asked for. So, in hindsight, maybe not so mental.

After we finished this one up, they came straight back with Part 2. Bigger, better and more ambitious.

Coming soon.
