Adidas Originals

My first time working with Adidas, and my second time teaming up with Director Harry Butt and Blink Ink. This round I had to make two hero 3D shoes for the Adidas Originals campaign. The first was the Adidas Astir (you’ll see these around town all the time now), and the second was the Adi2000 (you don't see these around town, but if early 2000s skaters were in town, you definitely would).

I’d already made the Nike (Dynamo Go) shoe before this, so I had a good idea of the process. To maximize the accuracy, I started with a 3D scan (I'm now a cowboy photogrammetry guy) to get the base mesh. From there, I built out the shoes using the scans as reference.

The models turned out nice, the textures turned out nice, and honestly, the project turned out very nice.
